1. Port Load Characteristics
The main load of the port is the variable frequency motor. This type of load starts and stops frequently, has a large power factor, and generates a large amount of harmonics during operation, which causes heating of transformers, motors, etc., and also causes overheating of the circuit, seriously reducing the power supply quality of the port and affecting the safe operation of electrical equipment in the port.
2. Usage MV1Z Passive Filter Device Solution
2.1 Compensation Design Basis
Our company's MV1Z Passive Filter Device is a fast filtering type, with a dynamic response time of less than 15ms, which can quickly react and filter out harmonics.
Based on the transformer and motor parameters provided by the user, the required harmonic capacity is calculated. The ratio of the harmonic capacity to the fundamental wave capacity of the device is 2:1. As little fundamental wave capacity as possible is provided to avoid over-compensation, and the required MV1Z passive filter device is selected accordingly.

Effectively reduced the on-site harmonic current, meeting national standards, improving the port's power supply quality, and increasing the service life of power equipment.
