Key power supply projects in Ali, Tibet, have been put into operation

On October 7th, the Ali Jiamu 110 kV substation and transmission project was launched and put into operation. This project is a key power supply project of the State Grid Corporation of China and the Tibet Autonomous Region in 2024, and one of the key projects for power supply on the grid side in Tibet this winter and next spring. The commissioning of the project laid a solid foundation for ensuring power supply during the peak winter season in Ali region this year.
The Ali Jiamu 110 kV substation and transmission project is located in Zashigang Township, Gar County, Ali Prefecture. The project includes the construction of 1 new 110 kV substation, 18 km of 110 kV lines, 19 km of 35 kV lines, and 38 km of 10 kV lines. Upon completion, the project will further strengthen the grid structure of the Ali power grid, improve the reliability and security of power supply, and provide power for the newly built Jiamu SVG project, playing an important role in supporting the overall power supply in Ali.
Subsequently, the numerous participating personnel of State Grid Tibet Electric Power Company will continue their efforts, carrying forward the spirit of the "electric power army", overcoming difficulties, and steadily advancing the construction of key annual power supply projects such as Linmai dual-conversion single, three station compensators, three station SVG, and Lhasa 500 kV substation and transmission. This effort will contribute to winning the battle to ensure power supply for the whole year.
