Recently, the Shenyang 220 kV Yuanhang transmission and substation project, invested by the State Grid Liaoning Shenyang Power Supply Company with 101 million yuan, has begun high-voltage equipment electrical testing, making a final sprint for completion and operation at the end of April. A representative from the State Grid Shenyang Power Supply Company stated that this project boasts the highest construction quality substation currently in Shenyang's urban area, and also includes the construction of four 220 kV transmission lines and eight 66 kV transmission lines. Upon completion and operation, various power sources in southern Shenyang will be effectively interconnected, providing power support for the Shenyang section of the Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone, the Manrong Economic Zone, Shenyang Metro Line 4, and other areas.

The Liaoning power grid is the load center, grid center, clean energy consumption center of the Northeast China Power Grid, and a hub for power transmission from Northeast China to North China. Last year, State Grid Liaoning Power Company vigorously implemented the "power grid upgrade" project and the "digital transformation" project, deepening the forward-looking and systematic research on "new power grids and power transmission channels", planning and constructing a "five-strong" main grid and a "five-type" modern smart distribution network. Focusing on "all aspects of power grid operation, all fields of planning and construction, all processes of equipment management, all aspects of customer service, and all scenarios of business management", State Grid Liaoning Power Company accelerated the construction of the "Liaoning Electric Power Digital Space", completed the Liaoning Province "dual carbon" monitoring and analysis service platform, realized big data applications such as monitoring the economy, environment, and assisting emergencies, further releasing data value, assisting enterprises in energy saving and emission reduction, and empowering the construction of Digital Liaoning and a strong province of intelligent manufacturing.

To serve the development of clean energy, last year, Liaoning power grid had 7 500 kV transmission and substation projects and 38 supply guarantee projects put into operation on schedule, ensuring that the Qingyuan pumped storage power station was put into operation and power generation on schedule, serving 6.13 million kilowatts of new energy compliant grid connection. At the same time, the Liaoning power grid strengthened the deep peak regulation of thermal power units, fully improved the grid connection space of wind power and photovoltaic new energy, actively promoted the entry of low-priced new energy into the market, reduced the minimum load rate of thermal power to 26.24%, and the daily electricity and power generation of new energy created historical highs 13 times. In addition, State Grid Liaoning Power Company completed the long-cycle, multi-scenario trial operation of the spot market, promoted the entry of low-priced new energy into the market, accumulated 116.535 billion kWh of domestic long-term transactions, the annual green electricity transaction volume reached 4.567 billion kWh, the cumulative completion volume was 6.792 billion kWh, the first in the State Grid system to complete the green electricity and green certificate transaction target, and the annual green certificate reached 395,700.
