Recently, the foundation and towers of section 10 of the Bazhou-Tieganlike-Ruoqiang 750 kV transmission line project in Xinjiang have been completed, and the project has entered the crucial stage of stringing wires.
It is understood that section 10 of the Bazhou-Tieganlike-Ruoqiang 750 kV transmission line project is constructed by Shandong Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. The line is 75 kilometers long, with a total of 225 towers. The entire line is located in Ruoqiang County, passing through Gobi Desert, desert, forest, grassland, swamp and lake areas. This section mainly crosses electrified railways at two places, highways at two places, national highways at two places, 220 kV power lines at six places, and 110 kV power lines at ten places.

It is reported that the Bazhou-Tieganlike-Ruoqiang 750 kV transmission line project started construction on March 7, 2023. With a total investment of 4.616 billion yuan, it is currently the largest single investment grid project in Xinjiang's 750 kV power transmission and transformation projects. The line starts from the Bazhou 750 kV substation and ends at the Ruoqiang 750 kV substation, with a newly built line length of 880 kilometers and 1873 towers.

Zhou Yue, project manager of the Tieganlike-Ruoqiang 750 kV transmission line project of Shandong Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd., said: "The Bazhou-Tieganlike-Ruoqiang 750 kV transmission line project is an important part of the Xinjiang 750 kV Tarim Basin ring network. The stringing work of section 10 is currently 76% complete, and all technical indicators have met the design requirements. It is planned to complete the entire line stringing in June 2024 and complete the power transmission in November 2024. Next, we will repeatedly survey the site, refine the stringing construction plan, and ensure the safe and steady progress of the project."

The completion of this project will strongly support the construction of the third AC power transmission channel of the Xinjiang power grid, promote the interconnection of the Xinjiang and Qinghai large power grids, further enhance the AC power transmission capacity, transform Xinjiang's energy advantages into economic advantages, and strongly support and serve the national power supply.
