According to statistics from the State Grid Gansu Power Company, as of November 4, Gansu's installed capacity of clean energy reached 70.05 million kilowatts, exceeding 70 million kilowatts for the first time, with an installed capacity share of 73%, achieving a historic breakthrough.
In recent years, Gansu Province has focused on building a nationally important new energy and new energy equipment manufacturing base, "riding the wind and heading towards the light," pursuing the goal of building a new energy and equipment manufacturing industry cluster with a value of hundreds of billions of yuan, continuously enriching the "multi-energy complementary integration, source-grid-load-storage integration" business scenarios, and accelerating the upgrading and transformation of the new energy and equipment manufacturing industry. Currently, Gansu has built the country's first 10-million-kilowatt-level wind power base in Jiuquan, and 5 million-kilowatt-level wind power bases and 6 million-kilowatt-level photovoltaic power generation bases have also been built successively. New energy has become the province's largest power source, and the amount of new energy generated and the proportion of non-fossil energy in primary energy consumption are among the top in the country.
Especially since the "14th Five-Year Plan", the province has deeply implemented the "attracting large, attracting strong, attracting leading" action, the number of energy-consuming entities has continued to increase, and the on-site consumption capacity has been significantly enhanced. At the same time, Gansu Province has achieved remarkable results in the construction of power transmission channels. Following the full-load operation of the Jiuquan-Hubei DC transmission line, the Longxi-Shandong and Longxi-Zhejiang transmission lines have started construction, and the Longxi-Sichuan transmission line is expected to be approved soon. Gansu's green electricity has been sent to 25 provinces, with an annual transmission volume exceeding 52 billion kilowatt-hours, making a Gansu contribution to the national energy supply and energy structure transformation.
