Action Plan for Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Modern Industrial Chain of the New Power System Released

On November 12, the Modern Industrial Chain Co-chain Action Conference and New Power System Equipment Technology Forum for the New Power System, hosted by the State Grid Corporation of China, was held in Beijing. The conference released the "Action Plan to Promote the High-Quality Development of the Modern Industrial Chain of the New Power System" and held a forum on new power system equipment technology and a signing ceremony for cooperation among enterprises in the industrial chain.

Pang Xiaogang, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the State Grid Corporation of China, stated that launching the co-chain action for the modern industrial chain of the new power system is a powerful measure to implement the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council. It is of great significance to building a new power system, promoting the high-quality development of the energy and power industry, and accelerating the cultivation and development of new productive forces. The State Grid Corporation of China is deeply implementing the new energy security strategy of "four revolutions and one cooperation," relying on the construction of a new power system, focusing on strengthening technological innovation, industrial control, and safety support, and making every effort to promote the advanced nature of the energy and power industry's foundation and the modernization of its industrial chain. The company will further strengthen exchanges and deepen cooperation with upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, work together to build a win-win cooperation ecosystem, improve industrial infrastructure capabilities, promote the green transformation of energy, build a modern industrial chain of the new power system driven by new productive forces, and make greater contributions to the clean and low-carbon transformation of energy and the achievement of the "dual carbon" goals.

Liang Zhifeng, Director of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated that implementing the co-chain action will help to give play to the leading role of central enterprises and promote collaborative innovation among upstream and downstream small and medium-sized enterprises. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will continue to deeply implement the "Hand-in-Hand Action" to promote the integration and innovation of large, medium, and small enterprises, work together with relevant departments to carry out the "co-chain action," "hundreds of conferences and thousands of enterprises," and "posting and revealing" work, increase efforts to cultivate specialized, sophisticated, and new small and medium-sized enterprises, and enhance the supporting capabilities of the industrial chain. It is hoped that central enterprises will further open up innovation resources and application scenarios to small and medium-sized enterprises, promote docking and cooperation between upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, and jointly enhance the resilience and security level of the industrial chain and supply chain.

Shang Peng, Deputy Director of the Planning and Development Bureau of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, stated that upstream and downstream enterprises should take this conference as an opportunity to work hard to strengthen their foundation, jointly ensure the safety and stability of the industrial chain and supply chain; adhere to collaborative innovation, jointly promote the advanced nature and modernization of the industrial chain and supply chain; and adhere to openness and sharing, jointly promoting the smooth and efficient operation of the industrial chain and supply chain. The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council will continue to support central enterprises and various enterprises in the industrial chain in conducting pragmatic cooperation in an all-round, multi-faceted, and in-depth manner.

Liu Deshun, Director of the Department of Energy Conservation and Technological Equipment of the National Energy Administration, stated that as a core component of the new energy system, the new power system is the key carrier for achieving efficient and reliable consumption of new energy. It is hoped that enterprises will accelerate the strengthening of technical shortcomings in the industrial chain of the new power system, actively forge the technological advantages of equipment for the new power system, accelerate the establishment and improvement of a standard system for the new power system, fully exchange ideas, build consensus, and jointly promote the industrial chain towards advanced and modernized development.
